Case description:

Disappeared, and presumably drowned, after he and 9 others left Cuba on Dec. 10 trying to reach the United States, and the vessel capsized early Sunday morning December 18, near the coast of Florida.  The only survivor, Julio Ibarra, was rescued by a merchant ship off Lake Worth Beach, Florida, and said that after the boat capsized, they had split in two groups of five; four in his group had drowned. The U. S. Coast Guard said it searched 2,485 miles with no signs of survivors, before suspending the search,
