Case description:

Member of Cuba's Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) who died on a day when a small plane piloted by Cuban exiles was dropping leaflets over the city of Santa Clara.  According to witnesses, several people, including Aguilar, opened fire on the plane and he was killed by some of the shots that were fired. However, according to the Cuban government, the plane dropped a bomb on the apartment building where Aguilar lived and that's how he was killed. It is very doubtful that a small civilian plane would have the capability of dropping a bomb.

Miembro de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Cuba (FAR) que murió el día en que un pequeño avión pilotado por exiliados cubanos arrojaba panfletos sobre la ciudad de Santa Clara. Según testigos, varias personas, incluyendo a  Aguilar, abrieron fuego contra el avión y algunos de esos disparos le causaron la muerte. Sin embargo, según el gobierno cubano, el avión arrojó una bomba en el edificio de apartamentos donde vivía Aguilar y así fue como murió. Es muy dudoso que un pequeño avión civil tenga la capacidad de lanzar una bomba.
