Case description:

Cuban doctor, who died from a cerebrovascular stroke while serving in Cuba's medical brigade in Venezuela, where she had been for 2 years and 3 months. She had previously been part of a Cuban medical mission in Brazil. Several doctors part of the Cuban medical mission in Venezuela have warned that they work in terrible conditions and under a lot of stress. Some have also complained about a lack of medicines in Venezuela to care for patients with coronavirus and other common diseases. Several suicides of Cuban doctors and health professionals have been reported, as others have died from curable diseases, and all have a poor diet.

Doctora cubana que murió de un derrame cerebral mientras se desempeñaba en la brigada médica de Cuba en Venezuela. Trabajó anteriormente en otra misión médica en Brasil y había estado en Venezuela durante dos años y medio. Varios médicos que forman parte de la misión médica cubana en Venezuela han advertido que trabajan en pésimas condiciones y bajo fuerte estrés. Algunos también se han quejado de la falta de medicamentos en Venezuela para atender a los pacientes con coronavirus y otras enfermedades comunes. Se han reportado varios suicidios de médicos y profesionales de la salud cubanos, otros han muerto por enfermedades curables. Muchos sufren de estrés permanente o enfermedades prevenibles y todos sufren de una mala alimentación.
