Case description:

Committed suicide while in the mandatory military service at Unit 6244 of San José de las Lajas. The young man had a metal plate in his brain from an injury with a baseball bat but was still forced into the military service. His grandfather had warned his superior, Captain Yordany, of his mental disorder and threats of suicide and had asked him to not hand him any weapons. The requests were ignored and was assigned to guard a weapons depot. His death had occurred around 6pm and the family went to the morgue at 10pm but was not allowed to see the body until 4am.

Se suicidó estando en el servicio militar obligatorio en la Unidad 6244 de San José de las Lajas. Tenía una placa de metal en el cerebro debido a una lesión con un bate de béisbol, y aún así fue obligado al servicio militar. Su abuelo había advertido a su superior, el capitán Yordany, sobre el trastorno mental de su nieto y amenazas de suicidio, pidiéndole que no le entregaran armas. Igual, se le asignó vigilar un depósito de armas. La familia se enteró de la muerte, que ocurrió alrededor de las 6:00 pm, y fue a la morgue a las 10:00 pm, pero no se les permitió ver el cadaver hasta las 4:00 am.
