Case description:

He had been accused with a friend, Armando Pérez, of committing a murder months earlier, during the Batista regime.They had gone to report a payback killing of an illegal lottery runner ("bolitero"), whom they had encountered on the street, but were arrested on the spot. Once the investigation was completed, they were released. When the revolution took power a few months later, the man's  widow again accused them. They were arrested, charged, and executed together with a Leiutenant from the military (Lt. Ramón Bayona).

Había sido acusado junto con un amigo, Armando Pérez, de cometer un asesinato meses antes, durante el régimen de Batista. Habían ido a denunciar el asesinato de un corredor de lotería ilegal ("bolitero"), a quien habían encontrado en la calle. pero fueron arrestados en el acto. Una vez finalizada la investigación, fueron puestos en libertad. Cuando la revolución tomó el poder unos meses después, la viuda del hombre volvió a acusarlos. Fueron detenidos, imputados y ejecutados junto a un teniente militar (Ramón Bayona).
