Written testimony of friend reports him as René Suárez, executed on September 16, 1961.  E. Ros, El clandestinaje, 2006, p. 311, reports a René Suárez, executed by firing squad with Bernardo Corrales on September 15, 1962.  Beruvides, 1993, p. 178, has him victim assassinated in prison.  Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil, 1965, p. 35, has him assassinated in the city of Pinar del Río.  Beruvides, 1993, p. 179, and Cuban American National Foundation, Quilt of Fidel Castro's Genocide, 1994, have him executed by firing squad on December 11, 1964.  Instituto de la Memoria Histórica Cubana contra el Totalitarismo, 2002, p.12, reports him executed by firing squad on September 15, 1961.    Beruvides, 1993, p. 178; Cuban American National Foundation, Quilt of Fidel Castro's Genocide, 1994; WAQI-Radio Mambí, p. 76; and Nuestra Cuba, 1998, p. 75, report the victim as René Suárez Suquet, alias Renr Suárez Suqrt, last living in the city of Pinar del Río, executed by firing squad in the city of Pinar del Río on September 21, 1961. Comité Internacional de ex-Presos Políticos Cubanos, have him executed on Dec. 11, 1961.
