Un día como hoy, Comité Internacional de ex-Presos Políticos Cubanos, e-mail of September 7, 2022, Nuestra Cuba, 1998, p. 72; and Instituto de la Memoria Histórica Cubana contra el Totalitarismo, 2002, p. 3, have him killed in a training accident in Guatemala on September 7, 1960.
