Case description:

Disappeared with Jay Hunter and Floyd Moody while piloting an airplane that took off from Ft. Pierce, Florida, after bombing, or attempting to bomb, Cuban sites with three homemade bombs in support of the local resistance movement against the Castro regime. The bombing operation was named "Operation Trick or Treat," as it was on Halloween day, and took place soon after the firing squad execution of three U.S. citizens in Santiago de Cuba on October 21, 1960 (Robert Fuller, Tony Zarba, and Allen Thompson for an aborted invasion of Cuba). Thus, the three bombs had been marked with their names.  The plane disappeared without a trace. There were severe thunderstorms and the plane was overloaded.

Pierce, Florida, después de bombardear o intentar bombardear sitios cubanos con tres bombas caseras en apoyo del movimiento de resistencia local contra el régimen de Castro. La operación de bombardeo se denominó "Operación Truco o Trato", porque fue el día de Halloween, y tuvo lugar poco después de la ejecución por un pelotón de fusilamiento de tres ciudadanos estadounidenses en Santiago de Cuba el 21 de octubre de 1960 (Robert Fuller, Tony Zarba y Allen Thompson por una invasión abortada a Cuba). Las tres bombas habían sido marcadas con sus nombres. El avión desapareció sin dejar rastro. Hubo fuertes tormentas eléctricas y el avión estaba sobrecargado.
