Case description:

Was one of the first to join a rebel group in Sierra de Cubitas, where he was the cook for the troop in addition to being a soldier.
He was shot in a battle against troops of the Batista regime and taken to a hospital in the Macareño sugar mill with other rebel soldiers who were also injured. Later they were transferred to a hospital in Camagüey where they were supposed to receive better treatment, but the truck where they were being transported was attacked with grenades and machine guns and all of them were killed. They were buried in a common grave in Santa Cruz del Sur.

Se incorporó en la Sierra de Cubitas al primer grupo rebelde que operó allí donde además de combatiente fue cocinero de la tropa.  De camino  a Pino 3 se origina un fuego cerrado contra el ejército de Batista, donde cayó herido y es trasladado al hospital del Central Macareño donde se le hicieron las primeras curas. Con el pretexto de darle mejor atención en el hospital de Camagüey, fue trasladado en un camión, ametrallándolo y lanzándole granadas de mano. Su cuerpo fue trasladado a Santa Cruz del Sur, donde lo lanzaron en una fosa común, sin depositarlo en caja.
