Case description:

Inmate who had been in prison for 13 years for robbery. He was involved in a fight over dice games in which he had to pay for two or three boxes of cigarettes, during the fight he received a stab from the inmate Richard Ramos Batista. When the ambulance arrived he was already dead. The prisoner of conscience Alfredo R. Domínguez Batista reported that Pupo was transferred some 350 meters to the provincial prison on a cardboard sheet of sugar cane bagasse that was used as a bed. He was taken away by two inmates guarded by prison guards and he was able to see the trail of blood that he left behind.

Recluso que llevaba 13 años en prisión  por robo. Se vió inmerso en una riña a causa de juegos de dados en los que debía pagar dos o tres cajas de cigarros, en la pelea recibió una puñalada del reo Richard Ramos Batista. Cuando la ambulancia llegó ya se encontraba muerto. El prisionero de conciencia Alfredo R. Domínguez Batista reportó que Pupo fue trasladado unos 350 metros hasta la prisión provincial en una plancha de cartón de bagazo de caña de azúcar que se usa como cama. Lo llevaron dos reclusos custodiados por militares y que él pudo ver el rastro de sangre que dejó detrás de sí.
