Case description:

State Security agent (or member of the Border Guard) killed, according to Cuban official media, in a nocturnal armed incursion of a fishing village in eastern Cuba by exiles seeking to stir anti-Castro fervor and fuel fundraising for a plan to invade Cuba and restore democracy. Three civilians, including two minors, were also injured. The alleged leader of the invasion plan, José de la Torriente, was assassinated in 1974 at his home Coral Gables, Florida, by a sniper from Cuba's Directorate of Intelligence.

Agente de la Seguridad del Estado (o miembro de la Guardia de Fronteras) que murió, según medios oficiales cubanos, en una incursión armada nocturna de un pueblo de pescadores en el este de Cuba por exiliados que buscaban despertar el fervor anticastrista e incentivar la recaudación de fondos para un plan de invasión a Cuba y restaurar la democracia. Tres civiles, incluidos dos menores, resultaron heridos. El supuesto líder del plan de invasión, José de la Torriente, fue asesinado en 1974 en su casa de Coral Gables, Florida, por un francotirador de la Dirección de Inteligencia de Cuba.
