Case description:

Insurgent who died fighting against Castro's militias with his friend Lalo Hernández. They were taken in a wagon to the Mayajigua cemetery and Lolo's father was not allowed to see his son's body. People who went to the cemetery hoping to attend the burial were turned back but testified that the two young men had been buried alive, as they could hear their moans and, especially, when their legs were broken to fit the bodies into the cardboard boxes available as caskets.

Cayó combatiendo contra las milicias de Castro en un sitio conocido como Loma de Las Llanadas, junto a él fue ultimado también su amigo Lalo Hernández. Fueron llevados en una carreta al cementerio de Mayajigua. El padre de Lolo quiso verlo, pero no se lo permitieron. Muchas personas fueron al cementerio ese día, muchos testificaron que los habían enterrado vivos porque, para no entrar por la puerta principal, los lanzaron hacia el interior del cementerio por encima de un muro, al caer los allí presentes escucharon los quejidos de ambos jóvenes, luego como no cabían en la caja de cartón donde los colocaron, quebraron las piernas de ambos y nuevamente se escucharon los quejidos. Fueron enterrados sin verificar si aún estaban vivos.
