Case description:

Infiltrated into Cuba with the mission of planning an internal uprising, but was captured during a clandestine meeting and sentenced to death together with many others including Comandante Humberto Sorí Marín ('Causa 152'). They were executed on charges of plotting to overthrow the Castro government and for conspiracy against the powers of the state. His wife Ofelia Arango was also imprisoned and served a prison sentence.  He left three small children. He was a former Olympic athlete, member of the Cuban national rowing (crew) team.

Se infiltró en Cuba con la misión de planificar un levantamiento interno, pero fue capturado durante una reunión clandestina y condenado a muerte junto con muchos otros, incluyendo al Comandante Humberto Sorí Marín ('Causa 152'). Fueron ejecutados acusados de conspirar para derrocar al gobierno de Castro y de conspiración contra los poderes del estado. Su esposa Ofelia Arango también fue encarcelada y cumplió una pena de prisión. Dejó tres niños pequeños. Fue un ex atleta olímpico, miembro del equipo nacional de remo (tripulación) cubano.
