Case description:

Norberto had joined the resistance against the Castro regime in Buena Vista, Remedios. He and his friend Julio Guevara Domínguez were subjected to a summary kangaroo "revolutionary" trial in which two coffins were exhibited. Members of mass revolutionary organizations from nearby towns were invited to witness the trial and execution in a festive atmosphere.  Some left, disgusted by the spectacle.  The two young men were executed an hour later at nearby Adela Sugar Mill with two or three other members of the resistance. His death certificate, signed by Dr. Miguel Ángel Savra, identified internal bleeding as his cause of death. His body was not returned to the family for burial.

Norberto había tomado las armas contra el régimen de Castro en Buenavista, Remedios. Él y su amigo Julio Guevara Domínguez fueron sometidos a un juicio sumario en el que se exhibían dos ataúdes. Miembros de organizaciones revolucionarias de masas de pueblos cercanos fueron invitados a presenciar el juicio y la ejecución en un ambiente festivo. Algunos se fueron, disgustados por el espectáculo. Los dos jóvenes fueron ejecutados una hora más tarde en el cercano Adela Sugar Mill con otros dos o tres miembros de la resistencia. Su certificado de defunción, firmado por el Dr. Miguel Ángel Savra, identificó una hemorragia interna como la causa de su muerte. Su cuerpo no fue devuelto a la familia para su entierro.
