Case description:

Member of the resistance planning to join the armed insurgency against Castro in the Escambray mountains. Was captured after their group was infiltrated by a spy and captured in Cienfuegos, on their way to the Escambray. Was executed three days later in Santa Clara, Las Villas, with six other members of his group. His family was not informed of his trial or allowed to to lay flowers on his grave. His mother was prohibited from hanging a black wreath of mourning on her door. He left behind two children: Marta Rosa, 5; Rafael, 2.

Miembro de la resistencia que planeaba unirse a la insurgencia armada contra Castro en las montañas del Escambray. Fue capturado luego de que su grupo fuera infiltrado por un espía y capturado en Cienfuegos, camino al Escambray. Fue ejecutado tres días después en Santa Clara, Las Villas, junto a otros seis miembros de su grupo. Su familia no fue informada de su juicio ni se le permitió depositar flores en su tumba. A su madre se le prohibió colgar una corona negra de luto en su puerta. Dejó dos hijos: Marta Rosa, de 5 años; Rafael, 2.
