Case description:

A former military career officer, he had been retired from service after serving six months at La Cabaña under the revolutionary government (where he had been charged with returning the bodies of men executed there to their families). He left Cuba and went back in an infiltration mission supported by the CIA. He was executed on charges of infiltration from overseas and spying for the U.S. Reportedly, there was an informant in his group. His mother had been placed under surveillance and he was captured when they met at a designated place. His mother was tried for not reporting him and sentenced to two years of prison. He was sentenced to death. His body was buried in a common grave.

Ex oficial de carrera militar, había sido retirado del servicio después de cumplir seis meses en La Cabaña bajo el gobierno revolucionario (acusado de devolver los cuerpos de los hombres ejecutados allí a sus familias). Salió de Cuba y regresó en una misión de infiltración apoyada por la CIA. Fue ejecutado por cargos de infiltración desde el extranjero y espionaje para los Estados Unidos. Según se informa, había un informante en su grupo. Su madre había sido puesta bajo vigilancia y fue capturado cuando se encontró con ella en un lugar designado. Su madre fue juzgada por no denunciarlo y condenada a dos años de prisión. Fue condenado a muerte. Su cuerpo fue enterrado en una fosa común.
