Case description:

State Security agents went to her home to arrest her sons Juan and Carlos, who were part of the resistance movement's Movimiento 30 de noviembre. They had escaped through the back and she was detained and taken to the State Security office at 14th and 5th streets, Havana. She was tortured by agents seeking information including that of the safe house where her sons had gone. She did not cooperate and was told her they would send out word to her sons that she would be sentenced to prison unless they turned themselves in. She committed suicide.

Agentes de la Seguridad del Estado acudieron a su domicilio para detener a sus hijos Juan y Carlos, quienes formaban parte del Movimiento 30 de noviembre de la resistencia. Habían escapado por la parte de atrás de la casa y a ella la detuvieron y la llevaron a la Seguridad del Estado en las calles 14 y 5, La Habana. Fue torturada por agentes que buscaban información, incluida la de la casa donde habían ido sus hijos. No cooperó y le dijeron que enviarían un mensaje a sus hijos de que sería condenada a prisión a menos que se entregaran. Se suicidó.
