Case description:

Kathia was reported to have died Feb. 4, 1992 with her parents and several family members during an exit attempt from Cuba when their small crop-dusting aircraft crashed into the ocean. Three bodies were recovered of the eight passengers on board, two were buried at the Cuban rafters' mausoleum in Miami by WAQI-Radio Mambí. Kathia's body was identified by Florida authorities, who are looking for next of kin. (The photo in this case record was provided by Monroe County Florida Medical Examiner's Office is a reconstruction from remains believed to be Kathia's.)

Kathia murió el 4 de febrero de 1992 con sus padres y varios miembros de su familia durante un intento de salida de Cuba cuando su pequeña avioneta se estrelló en el océano. Tres cuerpos fueron recuperados de los ocho pasajeros a bordo, dos fueron enterrados en el mausoleo de los balseros cubanos en Miami por WAQI-Radio Mambí. El cuerpo de Kathia fue identificado por las autoridades de Florida, que continúan buscando parientes cercanos.
