Clarinada, diciembre 2009, reports the victim as Carlos Campos, executed by firing squad in Santiago de Cuba on December 25, 1961.  Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil, 1965, p. 18; Beruvides, 1993, p. 98; WAQI-Radio Mambí, p. 12; Nuestra Cuba, 1998, p. 11; and Circuito Sur, July 2002, p. 15, report the victim as a prisoner last living in Guantánamo, province of Oriente (now Guantánamo), executed by firing squad on charges of counter-revolutionary activities, at La Cabaña Fortress prison, on January 25, 1962.  United States Information Agency, 1993, Year 1961; Cuban American National Foundation, Quilt of Fidel Castro's Genocide, 1994; and WAQI-Radio Mambí, p. 99, report death at Arroyo Blanco on 12/20/1961.  Ruíz, 1972, p. 217, reports him executed by firing squad on 12/29/1961.  Beruvides, 1993, p. 98, reports him executed by firing squad in January 1962.  Circuito Sur, July 2002, p. 15; and Nuestra Cuba, 1998, pp. 97, 101, report him executed by firing squad in Arroyo Blanco, Oriente province on 12/28/1961.
