Case description:

Common prisoner who died during an asthma attack, denied medical treatment. He had been taken to the prison clinic with several asthma attacks but denied attention and returned to his cell by order of the doctor in charge, Yunei Bambin Leiva. In the middle of that night, he suffered another severe asthma crisis and was transferred to the medical post only after forceful complaints from the other inmates. It was too late and he died.

Recluso común que falleció por una crisis de asma, agudizada por un tardío y deficiente tratamiento médico. Angel Manuel había atravesado por varias crisis de asma y, tras ser conducido hacia el puesto médico, fue retornado al destacamento por orden de la doctora en jefe, Yunei Bambín Leiva, sin que mediara tiempo de observación alguno. En la madrugada del 6 de Agosto de 2017 Angel Manuel sufrió otra severa crisis de asma y solo tras múltiples reclamos de los demás reclusos, se logró que fuese trasladado hacia el punto médico, donde finalmente murió.
