Case description:

Left Cuba from Mariel with his mother (Mercedes Romero Vargas) and father (Armando Martin Vázquez) on a small boat that they shared with a couple and their son (the Busoteon family). Their boat departed at the same time as another boat which held four more families from Mariel. During the voyage they were caught in a storm and their boat capsized. Everyone drowned except for the Busoteon's son, who was able to catch up to the other boat. The son and the passengers of the second boat made it safely to Miami after witnessing the deaths of Armando and his family.

Salió de Cuba por Mariel con su madre (Mercedes Romero Vargas) y su padre (Armando Martin Vázquez) en un pequeño bote que compartían con una pareja y su hijo (la familia Busoteon). Su barco partió al mismo tiempo que otro barco que tenía cuatro familias más de Mariel. Durante el viaje enfrentaron una tormenta, y su barco se viró. Todo el mundo se ahogó excepto el hijo de Busoteon, que fue capaz de alcanzar al otro barco. El hijo y los pasajeros del segundo barco lograron llegar con vida a Miami después de presenciar la muerte de Armando y su familia.
