Case description:

Died from a beating by police. He had been detained by the police at the Puente de Miel area, town of Cabacú, as he transported half a bag of powdered milk. They took to the PNR (National Revolutionary Police) station where, still in handcuffs he was sprayed with gas in the face and beaten by several officers. Several sources in the area consulted by Cubalex stated that his screams could be heard from outside the station. He was transferred to the hospital, where doctors said that he died of a heart attack. Independent journalist Yoel Acosta published photos of the body on his Facebook account showing injuries as well as the sewn-up abdomen after an autopsy, about which there is no information. Several years ago, Sanamé had been convicted in a trial about "the injustices committed daily in their town." He had only been free for 27 days after completing his sentence.

Murió a consecuencia de una golpiza propinada por la policía. Había sido detenido por la policía en la zona de Puente de Miel, localidad de Cabacú, transportando medio saco de leche en polvo. Lo esposaron y trasladaron a la estación de la PNR (Policía Nacional Revolucionaria) donde, con las esposas puestas, fue rociado con gas en el rostro y recibió una golpiza por parte de varios oficiales. Varias fuentes de la zona consultados por Cubalex declararon que desde afuera de la estación se escuchaban sus gritos. Fue trasladado al hospital, donde los médicos dictaminaron que había muerto de un infarto. El periodista independiente Yoel Acosta publicó fotos del cadáver en su cuenta de Facebook donde se aprecian lesiones así como el abdomen con suturas despúes de una supuesta autopsia, sobre la cual no hay infomación. Hace varios años su familia había tenido un litigio en los tribunales por "injusticias que se cometen a diario en ese pueblo" y Sanamé había sido condenado. Llevaba solo 27 días en la calle después de pagar su condena cuando lo mataron.
