Case description:

The juidical docket of the Supreme Court of Cuba identifies the victim as "S.R.N.R." and indicates that he went to the hog farm "El Lazareto" in Pinar del Rio, to steal a hog. The guards found him before he was able to take any action, shot at him and ran after him for one kilometer until he was apprehended. They allege that he then asked to be shot, which a guard identified only as G.S., shot at him from only 4 meters away, killing him. He was sentenced to 6 years of prison for murder while the guard identified as J.D.P. was absolved of any crime.

El expediente judicial de la Corte Suprema de Cuba identifica a la víctima como "S.R.N.R." e indica que fue al criadero de cerdos "El Lazareto" en Pinar del Río, para robar un cerdo. Los guardias lo encontraron antes de que pudiera actuar, le dispararon y corrieron tras él durante un kilómetro hasta que fue apresado. Alegan que luego pidió que le dispararan, lo que un guardia identificó solo como G.S., le disparó desde solo 4 metros de distancia, matándolo.
