Case description:

Leader of a cell of the opposition group Movimiento de Recuperación Revolucionaria Cubana sentenced to death after a summary trial with five others on charges of 'crimes against the integrity and stability of the state' and 'impending assassination' for planning counterrevolutionary actions including the assassination of Fidel Castro and for inciting civil war. He was denied an appeal of his death sentence and had been arrested only nineteen days before his execution (his family was unable to see him after his arrest). His body was buried in a common grave and the family was able to remove the body for proper burial four years later.

Líder de una célula del grupo de oposición Movimiento de Recuperación Revolucionaria Cubana condenado a muerte tras un juicio sumario con otras cinco personas por cargos de 'delitos contra la integridad y estabilidad del Estado' y 'asesinato inminente' por planificar acciones contrarrevolucionarias, incluido el asesinato de Fidel Castro y por incitar a la guerra civil. Se le negó una apelación de su sentencia de muerte y había sido arrestado solo diecinueve días antes de su ejecución (su familia no pudo verlo después de su arresto). Su cuerpo fue enterrado en una fosa común pero la familia pudo retirar el cuerpo para un entierro adecuado cuatro años después.
