Case description:

Former member of Cuba's Constitutional Army who together with his brother and 5 others tried to hijack a Cubana Airlines plane that had just taken off from Cienfuegos, in an attempt to escape from Cuba. There was a shootout inside the plane and one of the hijackers was killed. The pilot, who was also shot, managed to crash land the plane on a sugar cane plantation next to the airport. He died a few hours later. Four of those who were trying to escape, including Enildo and his brother Eloy, were captured and later executed. Two women who were part of the group were sent to prison.

Antiguo miembro del Ejército Constitucional de Cuba que junto con su hermano y otras 5 personas intentaron secuestrar un avión de Cubana de Aviación que acababa de despegar de Cienfuegos rumbo a La Habana, en un intento de escapar de Cuba. Hubo un tiroteo dentro del avión y uno de los que intentaban escapar resultó muerto. El piloto, a pesar de también haber resultado herido, logró aterrizar el avión y desviarlo hasta un campo de caña cercano a la pista. Murió horas después debido a las heridas recibidas.  Cuatro de los que intentaban escapar de Cuba, incluyendo a Enildo y su hermano Eloy, fueron capturados y luego ejecutados. Dos mujeres que formaban parte del grupo fueron enviadas a prisión.
