Case description:

Former Major of the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (FAR) and former Minister of Agriculture in the Cuban Revolutionary government. Chief military liaison with of the Cuban resistance movement with the CIA prior to the Bay of Pigs invasion. He had been entrusted with unifying the civilian leadership for the major underground groups. Captured and wounded during a chance raid on the house where the conspiracy group was meeting, the group was summarily tried on April 19th in a kangaroo court, two days after the Bay of Pigs invasion. Charged with plotting to overthrow the Castro government and of conspiracy against the powers of the state ('Causa 152'), most were executed immediately, at 2:00AM on April 20th.

Ex-comandante de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (FAR) y exministro de Agricultura del gobierno revolucionario cubano. Principal enlace militar del movimiento de resistencia cubano con la CIA antes de la invasión de Bahía de Cochinos. Se le había confiado la unificación del liderazgo civil de los principales grupos clandestinos. Capturado y herido durante una redada casual en la casa donde se reunía el grupo conspirativo, fueron juzgado sumariamente el 19 de abril en un tribunal amañado, dos días después de la invasión de Bahía de Cochinos. Acusados de conspirar para derrocar al gobierno de Castro y de conspirar contra los poderes del estado ('Causa 152'), la mayoría fueron ejecutados de inmediato, a las 2:00 am del 20 de abril.
