Case description:

Part of a group of 21 young revolutionaries who attacked the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Army Barracks in Bayamo in synchronicity with the attack on the Moncada barracks in Santiago de Cuba. After the action failed, he and three others fled the city and reached some rice fields. Hungry, thirsty, and fatigued, they were hiding in an abandoned hut around 10km. from Bayamo, at Ceja de Limones. They were captured by Batista's soldiers and his body was found the following day next to the bodies of Lázaro Hernández, Luciano González, and Rafael Freyre.

Uno de los asaltantes del cuartel Céspedes en Bayamo. Después que el ataque fracasó, los combatientes se dispersaron para tratar de evadir la persecución de los soldados. Pablo entró en unos campos de arroz para acampar junto con otros asaltantes, en una choza abandonada a unos 10 kilómetros de Bayamo. En este lugar, al parecer, fueron traicionados, capturados y asesinados. Su cadáver apareció el lunes 27 en la finca Ceja de Limones, en las afueras de Bayamo, junto a los cuerpos de Luciano González, Lázaro Hernández y Rafael Freyre.
