Case description:

Assassinated during an exit attempt when the 31 ft. yacht 'Pretexto' (used for rentals to foreign tourists) was sprayed with machine gun fire by a Cuban Navy patrol boat after they left from the Barlovento marina (now Hemingway marina). The group had been infiltrated by a spy and authorities were waiting for them. Of the 29 people on board, 5 were killed. 24 survivors were sentenced to 20 years of prison (Docket No. 60 of 1962). Several survivors and three of the victims were Cuban-Chinese.

Asesinado durante un intento de salida cuando el yate Pretexto (utilizado para alquiler a turistas extranjeros) de 31 pies, fue ametrallado por un patrullero de la Armada Cubana después de salir del puerto deportivo de Barlovento. El grupo había sido infiltrado por un espía y las autoridades los esperaban. De las 29 personas a bordo, 5 fueron asesinadas. 24 supervivientes fueron sentenciados a 20 años de prisión (Docket No. 60 de 1962).
