Case description:

Executed on charges of terrorism and conspiracy against the powers of the state with Radamés Amador. Both were members of the resistance movement 30 de Noviembre and had been sentenced to death for attempting to place a bomb to sabotage the telephone registers (of the telephone company) in Havana. They had reportedly been betrayed by police informer Juan Antonio Rodríguez Menier, who later became a Cuban diplomat and counter-intelligence officer and still later went into exile.
Both were executed immediately after their short trial. Fellow prisoners could hear that night at around 9pm their cries before the firing squad "Long live a free Cuba," "Long live Christ the King"  ("viva Cuba libre," "viva Cristo Rey").  The volley of fire was heard followed by the usual final shots to the head.
Bienvenido had been the first afro-Cuban champion in diving of Cuba during his university years. He had graduated in Business Administration from the Havana Business Academy. He left a wife and 6 month old son.

Ambos eran miembros del movimiento de resistencia 30 de Noviembre y habían sido condenados a muerte por intentar colocar una bomba para sabotear los registros de la compañía telefónica en La Habana. Según los informes, habían sido traicionados por el informante de la policía Juan Antonio Rodríguez Menier, quien más tarde se convirtió en diplomático cubano y oficial de contrainteligencia y aún más tarde se exilió.
Ambos fueron ejecutados inmediatamente después de su breve juicio. Los prisioneros pudieron escuchar esa noche alrededor de las nueve de la noche sus gritos ante el pelotón de fusilamiento "Viva Cuba libre", "Viva Cristo Rey". Se escuchó la descarga de fuego seguida de los tiros de gracia habituales en la cabeza.
Bienvenido había sido el primer campeón afrocubano sw buceo en Cuba durante sus años universitarios. Se graduó en Administración de Empresas en la Academia de Negocios de La Habana. Dejó una esposa y un hijo de 6 meses.
