Case description:

Prisoner serving 17 years who prison authorities reported had died when a truck in which he had been riding had an accident. The family received the body with a huge blow to the head. No witnesses to the accident were found.
The brother reports he was innocent of the charges for which he was sent to prison. His father and uncle had been conspiring against the Castro government, but he had not. He lived at home and worked at the corner store. On the day of his father's arrest, he came home and they arrested him too. Sentenced to 17 years of prison, he had served at La Cabaña, El Príncipe, Isla de Pinos, then Taco Taco, not being released when his sentence was up.

Preso que estaba cumpliendo una sentencia de 17 años que según las autoridades penitenciarias murió cuando un camión en el que viajaba sufrió un accidente. La familia recibió el cuerpo con un fuerte golpe en la cabeza. No se encontraron testigos del accidente.
El hermano asegura que era inocente de los cargos por los que fue enviado a prisión. Su padre y su tío habían estado conspirando contra el gobierno de Castro, pero él no. Vivía en casa y trabajaba en la tienda de la esquina. El día del arresto de su padre, regresó a casa y también lo arrestaron. Condenado a 17 años de prisión, había cumplido en La Cabaña, El Príncipe, Isla de Pinos, luego Taco Taco, y no fue puesto en libertad cuando terminó su condena.
