Case description:

Member of the anti-Batista 26 of July Movement who took part in several sabotages against the government in Jovellanos, province of Matanzas. He was arrested and reportedly murdered by the police together with his brother Pedro Nilo Almeida Trujillo.

Miembro del anti-Batista Movimiento 26 de Julio que participó en varios sabotajes contra el gobierno en Jovellanos, provincia de Matanzas. Fue arrestado y supuestamente asesinado por la policía junto con su hermano Pedro Nilo Almeida Trujillo. Los restos de ambos descansan en el panteón de los mártires del cementerio de Jovellanos, Matanzas. Ecured, la enciclopedia oficial del Estado cubano dice que   fueron detenidos en la madrugada del 26 de mayo de 1958 en la Finca Montebello de Carlos Rojas por José Rodríguez (Pepe Caliente), Daniel Ponce Corcho Docasal y Acosta. El mismo 26 de mayo de 1958 aparecieron su cadáveres en la carretera de Jovellanos a Pedro Betancourt, próximo al crucero de Nueva Luisa.
