Case description:

New York reporter who disappeared with two others (including the pilot, U.S. Korean War veteran Geoffrey Sullivan) in or en route to Cuba during a CIA sponsored flight to deliver supplies to the anti-Castro resistance movement fighting in the Escambray mountains of Cuba.  Their Beechcraft bimotor airplane had taken off from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and refueled in Cozumel, Mexico, en route to Cuba. 
Credible sources later reported that the plane had been shot down over Cuban territory and that at least the pilot, Sullivan, had been tortured and imprisoned for over a decade before being executed. 
Rorke was the son of a former Manhattan district attorney, there is an outstanding reward for information on his whereabouts.
