Case description:

Member of Bolivia's Communist Party since age 13 who had participated in guerrilla actions in Salta, Argentina, sponsored by Cuba. He was a member of Che Guevara's guerrilla group attempting to start an insurgency in Bolivia and was killed by the Bolivian Army days before they captured and executed Che Guevara in a combat at Quebrada de Batán, near La Higuera. In 1969, his brother "Inti" was put in charge by Cuba's intelligence service Departamento Americas of the Bolivian guerrillas and was killed in combat. Their mother was later permanently assisted by the Cuban embassy in Bolivia.

Formó parte de la guerrilla del Che Guevara que intentaba iniciar una insurgencia en Bolivia muerto en combate por el ejército boliviano. En 1969, su hermano Inti fue designado líder de las guerrillas bolivianas por el Departamento Americas de Cuba (servicio de inteligencia para la subversión regional) y murió en combate en 1969. La madre era atendida por el servicio de inteligencia de Cuba desde la embajada cubana en Bolivia.
