Case description:

The Bolivian Communist guerrilla, “Inti,” which means sun in quetchua, had participated in guerrilla actions in with guerrilla movements in Peru and Argentina. He was trained in Cuba in 1966 and was part of Che Guevara's guerrilla band in Bolivia and was one of the survivors of the Quebrada del Yuro, combat of Oct. 8, 1967 that decimated the guerrilla. n 1969, he was put in charge of reestablishing the guerrilla movement in Bolivia by Cuba's Departamento Americas (intelligence service for regional subversion) and entered Bolivia from Chile in May 1969. He died in combat four months later. His brother had also been part Guevara's guerrilla band in Bolivia and had been killed in a combat with the Bolivian army shortly before Guevara's capture and execution. Their mother was later permanently assisted by the Cuban embassy in Bolivia.

“Inti”, que significa sol en quetchua, era miembro del Partido Comunista de Bolivia y parte de la guerrilla comunista boliviana. Había participado en acciones guerrilleras con movimientos guerrilleros en Perú y Argentina ye entrenó en Cuba en 1966 para formare parte de la guerrilla del Che Guevara en Bolivia. Fue uno de los supervivientes de la Quebrada del Yuro, combate del 8 de octubre de 1967 que diezmó a la guerrilla. En 1969, el Departamento Américas de Cuba (servicio de inteligencia para la subversión regional) lo encargó de restablecer el movimiento guerrillero en Bolivia (servicio de inteligencia para la subversión regional) e Inti entró a Bolivia desde Chile en mayo de 1969. Murió en combate cuatro meses después. Su hermano también había formado parte de la guerrilla de Guevara en Bolivia y había muerto en un combate con el ejército boliviano poco antes de la captura y ejecución de Guevara. Posteriormente, su madre fue asistida permanentemente por el servicio de inteligencia cubano desde la embajada de Cuba en Bolivia.
